🏃‍♂️ ALBU-QUIRKY RUN

The inaugural Albu-Quirky Run is an event you won’t want to miss! Whether you run or walk the 8K, 5K, or Kids K, this event is perfect! It starts and finishes at Tiguex Park. All participants receive a custom finisher medal and event tee shirt. Age group and overall awards will be presented at the finish.

⏰ EVENT SCHEDULE

• 8K Start Time: 10:00 A.M.
• 5K Start Time: 10:10 A.M.
• Kids K Start Time: 11:10 A.M.
• Packet Pickup: Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 11:00 to 3:00 p.m. at HEART AND SOLE SPORTS, 2817 San Mateo Blvd. NE, Albuquerque NM 87110

🚗 PARKING

Parking is available on the west side of Tiguex Park and Explora Museum. NO PARKING ON THE COURSE: 19TH STREET, MOUNTAIN ROAD, OLD TOWN ROAD. EAST SIDE OF 18TH AND 20TH STREET AND NEXT TO TIGUEX PARK.

🎖️ AWARDS

Overall prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women determined by gun time for both the 8K and 5K. Age group prizes will be given to the top three finishers in various categories.

Results will be posted at www.irunfit.org.

❓ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

• Can I run with iPod/headphones? Yes. USATF has amended its ban on headphones.
• Are baby joggers and strollers allowed? Yes, but register your child at Packet Pickup for a Rider Bib.
• Is there a time limit? All participants must complete the course within 1:45:00.
• Are dogs allowed? No. Please keep your furry friend at home.

👩‍⚕️ MEDICAL SUPPORT

Medical staff members will be ready to assist you at any time. Please cooperate if you are asked to go for a checkup.
