Run with Joy Half Marathon and Run with Joy 5K

🦄 Race Overview

Calling all unicorn and beer lovers! Join us for this unicorn themed half marathon and 5k on Saturday, March 29, 2025, in honor of our late friends, Lawrence Joy and Mike Thrall. The run will benefit the Thrall family.

🏁 Course Details

• Location: The run will start and finish at the Canteen Brewhouse 2381 Aztec Rd NE.
• Route: The out and back course will primarily be on the North Diversion Channel Trail in Albuquerque, NM.
• Aid Stations: We will have several aid stations throughout the half marathon and an aid station at the halfway point of the 5k.
• Restrooms: Facilities will be available at the start and finish.

🎽 Participant Perks

• Registration Benefits: With your half marathon and 5k registration, you will receive a t-shirt and a pint of beer of your choice after the run.
• Finishers Medal: All Half Marathon participants will receive a finishers medal.
• Root Beer: Root beer will be available for participants under 21 and non-beer drinkers.
• Post-Run Fun: We will have live music and food post run, along with a raffle open to all finishers. Your bib number is your raffle number!

⏱️ Timing and Registration Notes

• Professional Timing: Provided by Feral Adventures.
• Shirt Guarantee: Run with Joy shirt and specific size cannot be guaranteed if you register after 3/1/2025.
• Price Increase: Prices will increase on 3/1/2025 for the 5k and half marathon!
• Packet Pickup: Will be Friday, March 28th from 5-7PM at Canteen Brewhouse. $1 off pints with race bib on Friday evening.

🍻 Age and Registration Policies

• Beer Policy: Must be 21 to receive your complimentary beer. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
• Day of Registration: Available but will not guarantee a shirt.
• Course Timing: The race course will be open until 12PM.
