📅 EVENT INFORMATION

Register today for the 21st Annual Cherry Garcia Run scheduled for Sunday, June 15, 2025. This summer event is a great addition to your seasonal fun! Whether it is the 10K, 5K Run, 5K, or Kids K, we have something for you! This year's run is held on Father's Day, making it an opportunity to create lasting family memories and participate with your father, in honor of your father, or simply fathers everywhere. Suitable for all ages and abilities, imagine the fun you and your family could have! If you are looking for an unbeatable experience, this is the race for you! Hundreds of participants will start this fast and flat loop course nestled in the heart of North. Age group and overall awards, including participant medals and a great Cherry Garcia Run tee shirt, await you, along with some other summer favorites at the finish. Our misting tunnel super soaker, Kids K, will cool you down! For additional information, visit www.irunfit.org. Proceeds from the event benefit RunFit school youth running programs and school-based RunFit “Fifteen and Fit” youth running and fitness programs.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE

Race-Day Registration: Available: however, all pre-registered participants must pick up their event packets at “Packet Pickup.”
Proxy Pickup: If you cannot pick up your packets in person, you must decide on a representative to do so.
Out-of-Town Packets: May be picked up on race day between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m.

🔄 VIRTUAL RUN/WALK

All registered participants may pick up their event packet, Event Bib, and T-shirt at the time and location listed above. For those who purchased the “shipping” (only available to Virtual Run/Walk participants), your race swag will be mailed out beginning June 9, 2025, and continue as registrations come in.

🚶 THREE EASY STEPS TO RUN/WALK

Step 1: Walk or run ANYTIME between June 8 and June 15, 2025, and record your race time using Strava, Garmin, or a simple stopwatch.
Step 2: Email your race completion time to stephenpino@:hotmail.com with your race details.
Step 3: Submit a selfie on the RunFit Facebook page after your run/walk.

🚗 PARKING

Location: Parking is available at Valley High School.
Instructions: Volunteers will instruct where to park. Please DO NOT PARK ON VALLEY POOL RD.
10K Participants: Please park at Griegos Elementary School.
Arrival: Please arrive between 6:30 a.m. and no later than 7:30 a.m.

🏁 START AND FINISH

5K & 10K events will start on or near the Valley H.S. Track. All participants must be at the start no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. The Finish is located at the Griegos Elementary School Field just north of Valley Pool Road.

🎖️ RESULT TIMING

Electronic Timing: All participants are assigned an electronic timing device.
Proper Use: Participants must wear their assigned timing device continuously from start to finish.
Disqualification: Participants found to be wearing multiple timing devices will be disqualified.
Medical Support: Medical staff will be ready to assist you at any time.

🏆 AWARDS

The overall and age group division award winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on race day immediately following the Kids K.

📝 RACE REQUIREMENTS

Race Bib: Each participant must wear their Race Bib number on race day.
Visible Bib: Your bib must be worn on the front outside of all clothing.
Non-transferable: Bib numbers are non-transferable and must be worn by the runner to whom it is assigned.
No Refunds: All entry fees are non-refundable and cannot be deferred toward a future event.
