Register now for the 21st Annual Chunky Monkey Run on Sunday, July 20, 2025! This summer favorite is a fantastic addition to your seasonal activities. Whether you choose the 10K, 5K Run, 5K Walk, or Kids' K, there’s an event for everyone! Join hundreds of participants on this fast and flat loop course in the North Valley's heart.

📦 Packet Pickup and Registration

Date: July 19, 2025
Time: 11:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.
Location: Fleet Feet Sports, North Towne Plaza, 5901 Wyoming Suite R, Albuquerque, NM 87109

• Note: Race-day registration is available: however, all pre-registered participants must pick up their event packets at “Packet Pickup.”
• Arrangements: If unable to pick up packets in person, arrange for a representative to do so.
• Out-of-town: Participants may pick up their packets on race day between 7:00 - 7:30 A.M.

🏅 Awards and Prizes

Participants will be eligible for age group and overall awards, including medals and a stylish Chunky Monkey Run t-shirt. Enjoy delightful summer treats at the finish line, and don’t miss our misting tunnel and super soaker area for Kids K to cool off!

• Overall Prizes: Top three men and women in both 10K and 5K, determined by gun time.
• Age Group Prizes: Top three finishers in age categories for both 10K and 5K.
• Kids K: All participants will receive a special recognition award at the finish.

🅿️ Parking

Parking is available at Valley High School. There will be volunteers instructing you where to park. Please DO NOT PARK ON VALLEY POOL RD OR ON THE DIRT JUST NORTH OF VALLEY POOL RD.

• 5K & Kids K Participants: Please park at Valley High School.
• 10K Participants: Please park at Griegos Elementary School.
• Note: Arrive between 6:30 A.M. and 7:30 A.M. Valley Pool Road will be closed to traffic after 7:30 A.M.
• Access: Please enter the parking lot via Candelaria Blvd. only.

🗓️ Important Details

Follow three easy steps to run/walk your 10K or 5K! Note: Kids K is a non-timed event.

• Step 1: Walk or run ANYTIME between July 12 and 20, 2025, and record your race time.
• Step 2: Email your race completion time to stephenpino@hotmail.com.
• Step 3: Submit a selfie on the RunFit Facebook page after your run/walk.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

• Headphones: Yes, you can run with headphones, but athletes competing for prize money cannot.
• GPS Devices: Yes, participants may wear GPS watches.
• Lost & Found: There will be a Lost & Found for lost items on race day.
• Transfers: The sale and/or transfer of race entry/bib are strictly prohibited.
