🌻 Event Overview

Register now for the must-attend event of your summer racing season! You won't want to miss this adult-only (21 and older) 10K and 5K Walk or Run! Set in the Village of Los Ranchos at the beautiful Casa Rondena Winery, this flat and fast point-to-point loop course is one you'll want to tell your friends and family about.

Sorry, this event is for adults only—they deserve a break from the daily summer chores! Whether you're a weekend warrior, a seasoned runner, or simply looking to have a good time, join us for an unforgettable experience!

Race participants will receive a souvenir wine glass, a custom finisher medal as a memento of their experience, and post-race refreshments at the finish line.

🥇 General Race Entry

General Race Entry includes race entry, professional race timing, a t-shirt, wine glass, participant finisher medal, and refreshments at the finish. For an additional $15, please consider purchasing the post-event Barbecue immediately after you finish at Casa Rondena Winery. You may register for the Barbecue during registration and Packet Pickup or Race Day.

🍔 Event Barbecue

Remember to purchase your ticket for the Post-Event Barbecue at Casa Rondena Winery immediately upon completion of your Event. Barbecue tickets will be available at Packet Pickup and at the Event. 🚗 Parking Information

The Sunflower Run will start at Taft Middle School. Please see "PARKING INFORMATION" below for where to park. There is no parking at Casa de Rondena Winery or on roads near the Winery, so please plan to park at the locations described below. NOTE: ALL PARTICIPANTS WHO WOULD LIKE TO BE ENTERED IN THE RESULTS AND BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARDS MUST WEAR A TIMING CHIP/BIB.

🚻 Bathroom Facilities

Port-a-potties are located near the Start and finish. Please allow plenty of time before the race starts to use the restrooms.

🏥 Medical Support

Medical staff members will be ready to assist you at any time. Radio communications personnel will be positioned at every aid/water station throughout the course.

🆔 ID Requirements

This is an over-21 event. You need an ID to pick up your event bib near the Start. You must have your ID or driver's license when entering Casa Rondena Winery/Finish.

👥 Support for Friends and Family

We appreciate your family and friends who want to see you at the finish line. However, the venue is limited to participants only. RunFit has many more events to celebrate your achievements with your loved ones.

☔ Inclement Weather Policy

Weather forecasts will be monitored before the Event, paying particular attention to the possibility of heavy rain, thunder and lightning, high winds, and extreme temperatures. If necessary, athletes will be made aware of these predictions on the RunFit website: www.irunfit.org so that participants can properly prepare for severe weather during the race and possible course alterations. Severe weather updates will also be emailed to participants as necessary.

🥇 Finish Information and Awards

The overall and division award winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on race day.

RACE AWARDS: Awards will be given to the following race winners:

• Overall: 1st-3rd places
• Age group awards: 1st-3rd places

Note: One award per participant.

🏆 Course Information

The 10K and 5K Run/Walk use a Gun Start with a Timing Chip finish. The "official time" starts when the gun/horn goes off.

Fluid replacement stations will be available along the course.
