🎉 Celebrate 22 Years of Heart & Sole

Cheers to 22 years! It's our 22nd anniversary and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than to take it to the streets!! Your support will allow us to continue our contributions to local organizations and encourage fitness in our community while directly supporting Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless.

☕ Pre-Race Treats

• Sueños Coffee Co.: Come early! Sueños Coffee Co. will be onsite selling warm beverages and light pastries starting at 8AM. Also a great post-race treat!

👟 Race Details

• Family-Friendly: This run/walk race is family-friendly, stroller-friendly and will be chip-timed.
• Stroller Information: Strollers will start to the side of the corral, stay tuned to pre-race announcements for details.
• Dog Policy: We love our dogs, but dogs are not allowed on the race course.

💲 Registration Fees

• 5K run/walk: $30 until October 25, 2021 at 2pm
• Next Price Point: $35 until January 24, 2022 at 2pm
• Final Price: $40 through race day
• No Shirt Option: $5 cheaper without a shirt

📦 Packet Pick-up

• Pre-Race Packet Pick-up: Friday, February 18th from 2PM – 6PM at Heart & Sole Sports, 2817 San Mateo Blvd NE, Abq NM 87110
• Race Day Packet Pick-up: Saturday, February 19th from 7:30AM - 8:45AM at New Mexico Veterans Memorial Amphitheatre, 1100 Louisiana Blvd SE #5009, Abq NM 87108
• Pick-up Policy: You can pick up on behalf of someone else as long as they know you are collecting their materials.

⏰ Race Day Schedule

• Start Time: Gun time will be promptly at 9AM.
• Arrival Time: Please be parked and in the starting corral with your bib pinned to the FRONT of your shirt by 8:50AM.
• Important Announcements: There will be important event announcements starting at 8:50AM that everyone must be present for.
• Safety Notice: Bib numbers must be pinned on all four corners to the front of your outer-most torso layer to ensure proper tracking.

😷 COVID-19 Mitigation Strategies

• Masks Requirement: Masks must be used at any point where individuals cannot socially distance or are indoors.
• Course Policy: We will NOT require any of our participants to use a mask on the race course.
• Social Distancing: Maintain social distancing when outdoors, one meter (three feet), should be maintained between individuals even on the race course.
• Finish Line: Please do not congregate and maintain social distancing at all times. Masks must be worn when distancing is not possible or if you are unvaccinated.

Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless

• Mission: To provide caring and comprehensive health and integrated supportive services, linking people experiencing homelessness to individual and collective solutions.
• Catalyst for Solutions: AHCH has served our community for over three decades, serving over 7,000 men, women, and children annually.
• Registration Donations: You will be able to add an extra donation to aid those struggling with poverty in our community during the registration process. 100% will go to AHCH.

🏅 Awards

• Cash Awards: 1st Place M&F Overall will each earn $100 cash award: 2nd Place M&F Overall will each earn a $60 gift card to Heart & Sole: 3rd Place M&F Overall will each earn a $40 gift card.
• Masters Awards: 1st Place M&F Masters (40+) will earn a $25 gift card to Heart & Sole: Overall awards will be scored using gun time.
• Age Group Prizes: Prizes will also be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in designated age groups.
• Award Ceremony: The ceremony will begin at 10AM or after all categories have been filled. Awards can be collected at Heart & Sole Sports after Feb 22nd.

📜 Event Policy

Please no roller blades, skates, bikes, dogs, pets or headphones allowed on the race course. Your race number must be worn on your front and must be visible. DO NOT exchange or give your race number to another participant. Headphones are strongly discouraged and will disqualify you from an overall award category.

🔄 Refund, Deferral, Transfer, and Cancellation Policies

• Refunds: Race registration fees are non-refundable.
• Deferrals: You can defer your entry to the following year's event up to 12 days prior to the race.
• Transfers: You can transfer your entry to another eligible participant up to 12 days prior to the race.
