🏃♀️ Event Overview
Polly’s Run, a non-profit road race, is an annual 5K Run/Walk and Kids’ K road race honoring Polly Rogers and all the loved ones we have lost to pancreatic cancer.
🕒 Race Schedule
- 5K Start Time: The 5K will take place at 8:30am on June 1st, 2024.
- Kids K Start Time: The Kids K starts at 9:30am on June 1st, 2024.
- 5K Location: The 5K race begins on 18th Street outside of Explora.
- Kids K Location: The Kids K starts at 18th Street and Mountain.
💰 Purpose
- Aim: The purpose of the race is to raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research.
- Support: The proceeds from this event will support pancreatic research by donating 100% of the profits to the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center.
- Endowment: The UNMCCC has created an endowment for Polly’s Run that the profits from every year will be contributed and continue to grow.
- Funding Stream: The endowment will create an everlasting funding stream for pancreatic cancer research in New Mexico.
