Register today for the 21st Annual Albuquerque Half Marathon! The Albuquerque Half, 10K, 5K, and Kids K are a must on your event calendar! This fan favorite is scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2025, and is one you won’t want to miss! The Albuquerque Half Marathon crosses the Rio Grande River with spectacular views of the Sandia Mountains and North Valley Bosque and heads to the Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque and the heart of the North Valley on a flat and fast course, which makes it a personal best candidate. Finisher medals for all participants, including age group and overall awards and tech tee shirts for all Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K participants!

• Challenge Name: RunFit 13.1 X 2 Marathon Challenge
• Qualification: By running the Albuquerque Half Marathon 2025 and the NM Chips and Salsa Half Marathon 2025 (9/14/25), you qualify for the RunFit 13.1 X 2 Marathon Challenge medal.
• Purpose: Helping to build community and promote long-term health one event at a time!

• Half Marathon: 8:30 a.m. (3.5 Hour Cut-off)
• 10K: 9:15 a.m.
• 5K: 9:30 a.m.
• Kids K: 10:15 a.m.

🚫 Parking Information

THERE IS NO PARKING AT ALVARADO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OR ON ROADS AND NEIGHBORHOODS NEAR AND AROUND THE SCHOOL, INCLUDING DITCHBANKS. PLEASE USE AVAILABLE PARKING.

• Note: The Start of the Albuquerque Half Marathon and Los Ranchos de Albuquerque Half Marathon Relay is located on Winter Haven Rd NW – JUST SOUTH OF SAGEBRUSH COMMUNITY CHURCH. There is no parking on Winter Haven Road. Please park at Sagebrush Community Church only (6440 Coors Blvd. NW, ABQ., NM 87120).
• Shuttle Service: Shuttle buses will return participants to Sagebrush Community Church from Alvarado Elementary School.
• Arrival: Please park at available locations and arrive early.

🎫 Packet Pick-up and Registration

Packet Pick-up and Late Registration:

Friday, April 4, 2025 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Fleet Feet Sports, North Towne Plaza, 5901 Wyoming Suite R, Albuquerque NM 87109.

• Note: Race-day registration is available: however, all pre-registered participants must pick up their event packets at packet pick-up.
• Out-of-town Participants: May pick up their packet on race morning at the registration area if they cannot do so at Packet Pickup.
• Important: Half Marathon team of 2 relay must pick up their packet at packet pickup. There is no race day registration for the team relay.

🛑 Race Day Information

START TIMES:

• Half Marathon and Half Marathon Relay: Start at 8:30 a.m. (3.5-hour cutoff)
• 10K: Start at 9:15 a.m.
• 5K: Start at 9:30 a.m.
• Kids K: Start at 10:15 a.m.

🏆 Awards and Results

When you finish, you will be greeted by volunteers and receive an Albuquerque Half Marathon Finisher Medal. Awards for overall and division winners will be handed out immediately after each event's completion.

• Prize Categories: Overall prizes for the top three men and women in each segment.
• Age Group Awards: Specific awards for various age groups will also be issued.

🌧️ Inclement Weather Policy

Weather forecasts will be monitored prior to the event. In case of severe weather, the Race Director may decide to modify the race.

• Lightning: Visible lightning will postpone the race for at least 15 minutes.
• Extreme Heat: Additional water will be provided as needed during the event.
