🇺🇸 RED, WHITE AND BLUE RUN

Register today for the Red, White, and Blue Run, scheduled for Friday, July 4, 2025. We offer a variety of events, including a 10K, a 4-mile Run or Walk, and a Kids K, perfect for kick-starting your Independence Day celebrations. Participants will receive great t-shirts, and there will be awards for different age groups as well as overall winners. Everyone will also get a participant medal and have a lot of fun!

Proceeds from this event will benefit RunFit's afterschool youth running programs and the "Fifteen and Fit" fitness initiatives in schools, all of which aim to promote long-term health and keep children active.

Please note: Your race swag will be mailed out beginning June 28, 2025, and continue as registrations come in. For additional event information, please go to our RunFit website: www.irunfit.org.

If you choose to have your packet mailed to you, please make sure you enter your mailing address when registering for the event and add the additional charge for shipping.

Please note: All virtual runners and walkers must include “SHIPPING” before completing their registration online. All other packets (Live race only) will be available for Packet Pickup on race morning.

🏃 FOLLOWING REGISTRATION STEPS

Follow these 3 easy steps to run/walk your 10K or 4-MILE! Note: Kids K and 1-MILE are non-timed events.

Step 1: Walk or run ANYTIME between July 2-4, 2025, and record your race time using: Strava, Garmin, MapMyRun, MapPedometer.com or a simple stopwatch.
Step 2: Email your race completion time to stephenpino@hotmail.com. Include first and last name, run date, event (4-MILE), city and state and race completion time in the body of the email. Note: Subject line: Red White and Blue Virtual Run Result Information. Run/walk times must be submitted by 11:59 pm (mtn.) on July 5, 2025.
Step 3: Submit a selfie on the RunFit Facebook page by posting on https://www.facebook.com/Runfitabq/.

🚦 START INFORMATION

The Start for all events: 10K and 4-Miler are located next to the Rio Rancho Aquatic Center and Loma Colorado Park. Note: The Kids K Start and Finish is located at the Loma Colorado Park.

Note: Race Day Registration and Timing Chip Pickup will be located at the Rio Rancho Aquatic Center. ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THE 10K and 4-MILE WHO WOULD LIKE TO BE ENTERED IN THE RESULTS AND BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARDS MUST WEAR A TIMING CHIP/BIB. All races will start promptly at the designated times listed above.

⚠️ EVENT DAY CONDUCT

All participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and courteously towards the community and their fellow participants during the Event. This includes strict compliance with public health guidelines and orders.

⛑️ MEDICAL SUPPORT

Medical staff members will be ready to assist you at any time. Radio communications personnel will be positioned at every aid/water station along the course.

🏅 RESULT TIMING

All participants are assigned an electronic timing device, which is attached to their bib before the Event. Participants are responsible for appropriately using and applying their assigned timing device.

🚗 PARKING

PLEASE USE DESIGNATED PARKING AREAS ONLY. DO NOT PARK ON ROADS – INCLUDING LOMA COLORADO BLVD. AND BIKE/PEDESTRIAN PATHS. AVAILABLE PARKING AT RIO RANCHO AQUATIC CENTER, RIO RANCHO LIBRARY, AND RIO RANCHO HIGH SCHOOL PERFORMING ARTS CENTER.

❓ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I run with an iPod/headphones? Yes, USATF, the sport's national governing body, amended its ban on headphones, iPods, and similar devices.
Are dogs allowed? No! Loma Colorado Park is not dog-friendly. Please leave your dog at home.
Do you have a Lost and Found? Yes. We will have a Lost & Found for items that were lost and found on race day.
