🍫 Chocolate and Coffee 5K Run

Chocolate and coffee runners and walkers, your time has come! The Chocolate and Coffee Run: 5K and Kids K is brewing to be an event you won’t want to miss! This unique blend of chocolate and coffee with a run or walk is a great way to start your day!

☕ Event Information

• Location: Washington Middle School, 1101 Park Ave. SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102
• Date: March 30, 2025
• Start Times: 5K OPEN: 9:30 A.M. | RUNFIT KIDS K: 10:15 A.M.
• Packet Pickup: March 29, 2025, from 11-3 p.m. at Heart and Sole Sports, 2817 San Mateo Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110

🏆 Prizes & Awards

• Participants: All participants will receive a ticket ($15 value) to the Southwest Coffee and Chocolate Fest on April 5 or 6, 2025, along with coffee, chocolate, a race t-shirt, and a participant medal.
• Awards: Age group and overall awards will be presented at the event.
• Kids K: All registered participants (11 and under) receive a special recognition award at the finish.

🎉 Southwest Chocolate and Coffee Fest

• Date: April 5-6, 2025
• Location: Expo NM State Fairgrounds, Albuquerque, NM
• Details: This event features over 200 vendors, six stages, and a vast selection of chocolates, coffees, teas, candies, and more.
• Tickets: Tickets are $15/$20 at the door. Kids $5. Parking $10.

🚦 Participant Guidelines

• Conduct: All participants must conduct themselves professionally and courteously.
• Safety: Participants must adhere to city, state, and public health guidelines. Sick attendees should not attend.
• Course Monitoring: Participants must follow instructions from event officials at all times.
• Medical Support: Medical staff will be onboard to assist participants as needed.

🚗 Parking & Facilities

• Parking: Available at Washington Middle School and surrounding neighborhoods. No parking on the course or blocking driveways.
• Bathrooms: Portable toilets located near the start/finish area.
• Start Information: All events start and finish at Washington Middle School. Allow plenty of time to get to the start line.
• Medical: Emergency medical staff will be present throughout the event.

🎖️ Result Timing & Post-Race Information

• Timing Device: All participants will have an electronic timing device attached to their bib.
• Post-Race Refreshments: Refreshments will be provided by RunFit.
• Results: Results will be posted online at www.irunfit.org on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
