Run up a Thanksgiving appetite at this year’s Anaheim Turkey Trot 5K/10K! Enjoy a PIECE OF PUMPKIN PIE with whipped cream at the finish! 🏃‍♂️ Race & Course Details

To accommodate this size event on the paved River Trail:

Rolling Start: 7:55am to 8:05am for 5k/10k, 8:06 am for the 1 mile start.
Awards Ceremony: 9:00am 5k Awards Ceremony, 9:30am 10K awards ceremony.
Start Mats: All 5k/10k Must cross the start mats by 8:05am. Elite and fast runners plan to go off in the first wave at 7:55am.
Awards Location: Go to the Northern End of the long RIVER TRAIL EXPO area (nearest Katella) and look for the awards stands!

📋 Race Day Schedule

7am to 8am - Registration opens (Walk up LATE Registration available on race day, plus PRE REG BIB & Shirt Pick Up.)

A "COOL" warm up begins at 7:50am! Course time starts when you step under the START ARCH and on the start mats. Wear Bib on Front. It's a FUN FESTIVE TURKEY TROT STREET CORNER RACE!

Rolling Start: 7:55am to 8:05am. Start of the 5k/10k & 1 Mile Fun Run can take place during this time.
Proper Bib: MAKE SURE you have the PROPER BIB on for your race distance or you will be incorrectly scored and deque.
Public Path: You will be running on the SANTA ANA RIVER BED TRAIL. A picturesque, newly landscaped paved path...
Awards Pickup: 9am 5k awards available for pick up, 9:30am 10K awards available for pick up.

📦 Packet Pick Up

EARLY PRE Packet Pick Up at NEW LOCATION: GOLDEN ROAD BREWERY from 2 to 4 pm. Saturday, Nov 22, 2025.

GOLDEN ROAD: 2210 E. Orangewood Ave, Anaheim, Ca 92806. Get your parking passes at Packet pick up, or if getting your bib and shirt on race day, pay online and take a picture of the pass and have on your phone on race day.

🏁 The Course

The COURSE is on Anaheim Santa River paved, multi-purpose path. Start/Finish just south of Katella across from the Honda Center East of the Transit Center on the Santa Ana River trail.

Public Path: You are RUNNING the PUBLIC PATH COURSE on SANTA ANA RIVERBED TRAIL beginning off of KATELLA.
Sharing Space: You are sharing the route with open public, cyclists, runners, and walkers, and pets.
Right of Way: You are responsible for giving cyclists the right away.
Parking Recommendation: PLAN to walk from Angel Stadium's back lot where you park.

🚗 Parking Details

Parking is available lot adjacent to Transit Center. It will fill up fast.

Parking Location: Enter into the front parking off of Katella: the gate arm raises. Only 150 spaces at this lot.
Alternative Parking: Need proof of an event parking pass on your dash.
Angels Stadium: PARKING has been secured just for this race at the backlot of ANGEL's Stadium.

Age DIVISION AWARDS: 1-7, 8-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85 plus. WOW, that is a lot of awards! And just running up an appetite wins! Top male and female 1-10, 11-17 in the 1 mile.

🌮 Additional Details

There will be Street Tacos and Tamales served at the FINISH LINE as your refreshment. Reserve them now. Get a FOOD VOUCHER at registration or purchase online as an add on.

Top 3 overall trophies. Male/female also. Finisher medals handed out as you FINISH.

Limited Porta potties will be available near the Start/finish line. Race takes place rain or shine!
