It's time for our Mother's Day 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!
🕖 Check-in and Start Time
- Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone
- Start: 7:30AM
- Half Marathon Cut-off: 10:45am
- Early Start: Option to start early to finish by 10:45am, please email for early start at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com
📍 Location
- Address: 5400 E. Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.)
- Check-in Area: Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path, NOT near Claremont Ave.
- GPS Recommendation: Do not use Apple Maps as GPS: use Google Maps or Waze.
- Map Photo: There is a photo of the map on the website – www.abetterworldrunning.com
🚻 Event Details
- Parking: Please plan on carpooling and getting there early to find parking and use the restroom.
- Restroom Supplies: Bring toilet paper just in case as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked.
- Results: All participants will have their results posted with their names and times.
- Photos: Free pictures for everyone posted on our Facebook page after the event.
🏅 Race Courses
- 5k: Out and back route - 5k Route
- 10k: 2 x 5k loops
- 15k: 3 x 5k loops
- Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop - Half Marathon Route
👶 Stroller Policy
- Strollers: Running/walking with a stroller is allowed.
- Half Marathon Time Limit: 3:15 time limit: if more time is needed, please email us at abetterworldrunning@yahoo.com for early start.
- Finisher Medals: ALL finishers get a medal.
- Results Posting: All results will be posted after the event on our website usually the evening of the event at www.abetterworldrunning.com
