Mother's Day 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

It's time for our Mother's Day 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!

🕖 Check-in and Start Times

• Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone
• Start: 7:30AM
• Half Marathon Cut-off: 10:45AM: option to start early
• Early Start Request: Please email abetterworldrunning@gmail.com

📍 Event Location

Address: Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave. Long Beach path in Belmont Shores -- 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.)

• GPS Tips: Do not use Apple Maps app as a GPS, use the Google Maps or Waze app.

🚗 Parking and Facilities

PLEASE PLAN ON CARPOOLING AND GETTING THERE EARLY TO FIND PARKING AND USE THE RESTROOM. Bring toilet paper just in case as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked that early in the morning.

🏅 Race Experience

All participants will have their results posted with their names and times. And FREE pictures for everyone will be posted on our Facebook page after the event! Pacers and crew are welcome at any time. There are numerous restrooms and water fountains along the course.

🗺️ Race Distances

• 5k: out and back route - 5k map
• 10k: 2 x 5k loops
• 15k: 3 x 5k loops
• Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop - Half Marathon map

👟 Additional Information

Running/walking with a stroller is allowed. 3:15 time limit for the half marathon. If more time is needed, please email us at abetterworldrunning@yahoo.com for early start.

🎖️ Finisher Medals and Results

ALL finishers get a medal. All results will be posted after the event on our website usually the evening of the event at www.abetterworldrunning.com.
