It's time for our Stars and Stripes 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!
🕖 Check-In and Start Times
- Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone
- Start: 7:30AM
- Half Marathon Cut Off: 10:45AM, option to start early: email abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for details.
📍 Race Location
Address: * Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave. Long Beach path in Belmont Shores -- 5400 E. Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.) * do not use Apple Maps, use Google Maps or Waze. There is a photo of the map on the website -- www.abetterworldrunning.com
🚗 Parking and Facilities
- Carpool: PLEASE PLAN ON CARPOOLING AND GETTING THERE EARLY
- Restrooms: Bring toilet paper just in case as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked.
- Results: All results with names and times will be posted. Free pictures will be available on our facebook page.
- Course Amenities: Numerous restrooms and water fountains along the course.
🏅 Course Details
- 5k: Out and back route here.
- 10k: 2 x 5k loops.
- 15k: 3 x 5k loops.
- Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop: here.
👟 Participation Guidelines
- Strollers: Running/walking with a stroller is allowed.
- Half Marathon Time Limit: 3:15, contact us for early start options.
- Finisher Medals: All finishers will receive a medal.
- Results Posting: Results will be posted on our website usually the evening of the event on www.abetterworldrunning.com.
