It's time for our Stars and Stripes 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!
🕖 Check-in and Start Times
- Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone
- Start: 7:30AM
- Half Marathon Cut-off: 10:45AM
- Early Start: Available, email abetterworldrunning@gmail.com
📍 Location Details
Address - Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave. Long Beach path in Belmont Shores -- 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.). Please do not use Apple Maps app for GPS: use Google Maps or Waze app. There is a photo of the map on the website -- www.abetterworldrunning.com
🚻 Event Preparation
- Carpooling: Please plan on carpooling and getting there early to find parking.
- Restroom Availability: Bring toilet paper just in case, as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked early in the morning.
- Results Posting: All participants will have their results posted with their names and times.
- Free Photos: Pictures will be posted on our Facebook page after the event!

- 10k: 2 x 5k loops
- 15k: 3 x 5k loops

👟 Participation Guidelines
Running/walking with a stroller is allowed. There is a 3:15 time limit for the half marathon. If more time is needed, please email us at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for early start.
🏅 Finisher Rewards
All finishers get a medal. All results will be posted after the event on our website, usually by the evening of the event on www.abetterworldrunning.com.
