Beach Fun 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon

🏖️ Race Overview

ABWR has teamed up with two local charities to help with fire relief efforts. Portion of proceeds will go to -- California Community Foundation and Pasadena Humane Society.

It's time for our Beach Fun 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!

📅 Event Details

• Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone
• Start: 7:30AM
• Half Marathon Cut Off: 10:45AM
• Early Start: Option to email for early start at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com

📍 Location

Address - Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave. Long Beach path in Belmont Shores -- 5400 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.). Do not use Apple Maps app as a GPS, use the Google Maps or Waze app. There is a photo of the map on the website -- www.abetterworldrunning.com.

🅿️ Parking and Accessibility

• Carpool: Please plan on carpooling and getting there early to find parking and use the restroom.
• Restroom Supplies: Bring toilet paper just in case as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked that early in the morning.

🏁 Course Information

• 5k: Out and back route link.
• 10k: 2 x 5k loops
• 15k: 3 x 5k loops
• Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop: link.

🎖️ Finisher Information

ALL finishers get a medal. All results will be posted after the event on our website usually the evening of the event on www.abetterworldrunning.com.

🏃‍♀️ Additional Notes

• Strollers: Running/walking with a stroller is allowed.
• Time Limit: 3:15 time limit for the half marathon. If more time is needed, please email us at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for early start.
• Relaxed Atmosphere: We emphasize a more relaxed, fun, and personal racing experience!
• No Refunds: NO REFUNDS NO BANDITS.
