It's time for our Rise and Shine 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!
🕖 Schedule
- Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone
- Start: 7:30AM
- Half Marathon Cut-off: 10:45AM, option to start early to finish by 10:45AM, please email for early start abetterworldrunning@gmail.com
- Address: 5400 E. Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803. Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, NOT near Claremont Ave.
🗺️ Getting There
- Parking: Please plan on carpooling and getting there early to find parking and use the restroom.
- Restrooms: Bring toilet paper just in case as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked that early in the morning.
- Navigation: Do not use Apple Maps as a GPS, use Google Maps or Waze app. There is a photo of the map on the website www.abetterworldrunning.com.
- Route Information: *5k out and back route here, 10k 2 x 5k loops, 15k 3 x 5k loops, Half marathon 3 x 4.36 mi loop here.
- Results: All participants will have their results posted with their names and times.
- Photos: FREE pictures for everyone posted on our Facebook page after the event!
- Restrooms and Water: There are numerous restrooms and water fountains along the course.
- Strollers: Running/walking with a stroller is allowed. Participants are not allowed to run with dogs.
🥇 Awards & Medals
ALL finishers get a medal. All results will be posted after the event on our website usually the evening of the event on www.abetterworldrunning.com.
