It's time for our Father's Day 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk on Saturday 6/14/25!!

📋 Check-in and Start Times

• Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone
• Start: 7:30AM
• Half Marathon Cut Off: 10:45AM
• Early Start: Please email abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for early start options

📅 Event Details and Schedule

• Results: Everyone will get a time and place on our results page at: www.abetterworldrunning.com
• Photos: We take pictures that are free to download on our Facebook page.
• Experience: We emphasize a more relaxed, fun and personal racing experience!
• Official Results: Times and places will be posted on our website: www.abetterworldrunning.com

🚫 Important Rules

• No Refunds: Please understand there are no refunds.
• Bandits: No bandits please.

🗺️ Course Information

• Course Map: The course is super easy to follow and will consist of counterclockwise loops around the beach path that will be marked.
• 5k: 1 loop
• 10k: 2 loops
• 15k: 3 loops Map Link

Half marathon is 3 x 4.36 mile loops: Map Link

📍 Race Location

• Address: 2000 Ocean Ave. Santa Monica, CA
• Access: Off of beach path off of Bay St. & Ocean Ave. near Crescent Bay Park

🅿️ Parking Information

• Metered Parking: Meters on the street are free until 9AM.
• Post 9AM: After 9AM, you are responsible to pay for the parking meter with quarters or credit cards.
• Street Sweeping: There is street sweeping from 7-9AM: check signs for no parking zones.
• Beach Lot: The beach parking lot has an all-day flat fee that varies from $8-12 depending on the season.
