It's time for our Rockin' Summer 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!
🕖 Check-in Details
- Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone
- Start Time: 7:30AM
- Half Marathon Cut-off: 10:45AM, option to start early to finish by 10:45AM, please email for early start at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com
- Address: 5400 E. Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.)
📍 Location Guidance
- Check-in Location: Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave.
- GPS Advice: Do not use Apple Maps app as a GPS, use the Google Maps or Waze app.
- Parking: PLEASE PLAN ON CARPOOLING AND GETTING THERE EARLY TO FIND PARKING.
- Restroom Tip: Bring toilet paper just in case as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked that early in the morning.
📅 Event Details and Schedule
- Results: All participants will have their results posted with their names and times.
- Photography: FREE pictures for everyone posted on our Facebook page after the event!
- Pacers and Crew: Welcome at any time.
- Facilities: Numerous restrooms and water fountains along the course.
🚩 Course Information
- 5k: Out and back route Link
- 10k: 2 x 5k loops
- 15k: 3 x 5k loops
- Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop Link
👶 Stroller Policy
- Stroller Usage: Running/walking with a stroller is allowed.
- Time Limit: 3:15 time limit for the half marathon.
- Early Start: If more time is needed, please email at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for early start.
- Finishers: ALL finishers get a medal.
📄 Post-Event Details
- Results Posting: All results will be posted after the event on our website usually the evening of the event at www.abetterworldrunning.com.
- Photos: Free photos are posted on our Facebook page - www.facebook.com/abetterworldrunning.
- Experience: We emphasize a more relaxed, fun, and personal racing experience!
- No Refunds: NO REFUNDS NO BANDITS.
