It's time for our Summer Sensation 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!
🕒 Event Schedule
- Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone
- Start: 7:30AM
- Half Marathon cut off: 10:45am, option to start early to finish by 10:45am, please email for early start abetterworldrunning@gmail.com
📍 Location
Address - Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave. Long Beach path in Belmont Shores -- 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.)* do not use Apple Maps app as a GPS, use the Google Maps or Waze app. There is a photo of the map on the website -- www.abetterworldrunning.com
🅿️ Parking & Facilities
- Carpool: PLEASE PLAN ON CARPOOLING AND GETTING THERE EARLY TO FIND PARKING and USE THE RESTROOM.
- Restrooms: Bring toilet paper just in case as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked that early in the morning.
- Additional Facilities: Numerous restrooms and water fountains along the course.
🏅 Race Details
- Course: 5k out and back route here
- 10k: 2 x 5k loops.
- 15k: 3 x 5k loops.
- Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop: here
🎖️ Finishing & Results
All finishers get a medal. All results will be posted after the event on our website usually the evening of the event on www.abetterworldrunning.com

⏳ Running Policies
- Strollers: Running/walking with a stroller is allowed.
- Time Limit: 3:15 time limit for the half marathon. If more time is needed, please email us at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for early start.
- No Refunds: NO REFUNDS NO BANDITS.
