🏃♂️ Race Overview
It's time for our Spring Bloom 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!
🕖 Check-in and Start Time
- Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone
- Start: 7:30AM
- Half Marathon Cut-off: 10:45AM
- Early Start: Option to start early to finish by 10:45AM, please email for early start at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com
📍 Event Location
- Address: 5400 E. Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.)
- Check-in Location: Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave.
- GPS Advice: Do not use Apple Maps app as a GPS, use the Google Maps or Waze app.

🚻 Preparation Tips
- Parking: PLEASE PLAN ON CARPOOLING AND GETTING THERE EARLY TO FIND PARKING.
- Restroom Facilities: Use the restroom before the race: bring toilet paper just in case as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked early in the morning.
- Results: All participants will have their results posted with their names and times.
- Photos: FREE pictures for everyone posted on our Facebook page after the event!
🏅 Course Information
- 5k: Out and back route here
- 10k: 2 x 5k loops
- 15k: 3 x 5k loops
- Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop here
🐾 Additional Rules
- Pets: Participants are not allowed to run with dogs.
- Strollers: Running/walking with a stroller is allowed.
- Time Limit: 3:15 time limit for the half marathon.
- Need More Time: If more time is needed, please email us at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for early start.
🥇 Finisher Medals and Results
- Medals: ALL finishers get a medal.
- Results Posting: All results will be posted after the event on our website usually the evening of the event on www.abetterworldrunning.com.
- Free Photos: Free photos are posted on our Facebook page -- www.facebook.com/abetterworldrunning.
- Relaxed Experience: We emphasize a more relaxed, fun, and personal racing experience!
