Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025 8:30am (Mass Start). Bolsa Chica State Beach.

• Location: BOLSA CHICA STATE BEACH 17851 Pacific Coast Hwy, Huntington Beach, Ca 92649 LOT 25.
• Nearby: This great beach location is just west of Huntington City Beach and Dog Beach in Huntington Beach.

TIKI BEACH 5K/10K is YOUR LIVELY race with LIVE Polynesian Drummers and Dancers! It’s your end of the summer BEACH PARTY RUN!

• Amazing Atmosphere: Coconuts, palm trees, grass skirts, and the TAPUA PRODUCTION drummers and dancers make this the BEST BEACH BASH, healthy RUNNER's Party!
• Participants: Every participant gets a Hawaiian-style race shirt and the BEST EVER CUSTOM CAST FINISHER MEDAL! It’s a TIKI!
• Timing: CAREN WARE EVENTS are RFID CHIP Timed by ITZ ABOUT TIME.
• Awards: The 'coolest' age division awards and overall finisher trophies with 5-year age spans for both 5k & 10K.

🍽️ Refreshments

Coconut and Banana Pancakes, specialty coffee, and street tacos are served from 7:15 am to 10 am. Bring a little $. Enjoy the expo area and great selfie moments.

🏁 Course Details

The 5K/10K routes are both out and back courses on the paved beach path. Listen to the waves with a beachside view.

• Course Type: Flat and fast, or slow and easy out and backs.
• Start Location: Stage at the start in corals suited for your pace.
• Timing: Your course start time does not start until you enter under the arch.
• Bib Information: Make sure you have the correct bib for the distance you are running. Wear that bib pinned TO THE FRONT.

📅 Early Race Packet Pick Up

EARLY RACE PACKET PICK UP at SPORTS BASEMENT from noon to 3 pm on Saturday, September 27.

• Location: 10800 Kalama River Ave, Fountain Valley, Ca. 92708.
• Pick Up: You can pick up for others. No ID required. You may also pick up race morning at the race site.

🏆 Awards Information

Top Three Male/Female Awards. There are “In It To Win It” age categories 3 deep with 5-year age spans for both 5K and 10K.

• Age Categories: 1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over.
• Bonus Prize: 4th prize for running in more than 3 Caren Ware Events races.

🕒 Race Day Schedule

• 6:30 am: Vendors arrive and set up. Volunteers arrive and check-in.
• 7 am-8:30: Registration OPEN. Shirts and bibs are available for pick up on race day.
• 8:15 am: Kid's dash and 1 mile.
• 8:30 am: Mass Start for 10K and 5K.
• 9:10 am: BEGINS 5k AWARDS CEREMONY.
• 9:40 am: BEGINS 10K AWARDS CEREMONY.

🅿️ Parking Information

EVENT in LOT 25 of Bolsa Chica State Beach. (Closest to the corner of Warner and PCH) State Park charges $15 per car. You must enter at the main gate on PCH.

• Alternative Parking: Public parking is available behind the Jack in the Box in Sunset Beach, with a walk into the State Park via the sidewalk.
• Facilities: RESTROOMS are open and located on each end of lot 25.

The race will take place rain or shine!
