🏖️ Schedule for Race Day
- 6:00am: Parking Lots Open – First 200 cars will receive a free parking pass. Parking is $13. Please have cash available to expedite process.
- 7:00am: Registration and Festival Opens (Recommended 5K/10K arrival time)
- 8:30am: Recommended Family Fun Race arrival time
- 10:00am: Awards Ceremony
🗺️ Directions
- Location: 12000 Vista Del Mar, Dockweiler Beach, Playa Del Rey, CA 90293
- Freeway Route: Take the 105 Imperial Hwy past LAX towards the beach. Beach entry is at the end of Imperial Hwy where it passes Vista Del Mar.
- City Streets from North: Take Pershing Drive south until it hits Imperial Hwy. Make a right into the beach entry.
- City Streets from South: Take Vista Del Mar north until it hits Imperial Hwy. Make a left into the beach entry.
🚗 Parking
- Free Parking: The first 200 cars will receive a free parking pass. Parking is $13 per car. Please have cash available to expedite process.
- Parking Lots: There are three parking lots. We recommend parking in the 2nd lot, which is a 5-minute walk to the race start line and festival.
- Limited Access: 3rd lot reserved for volunteers and people with special needs. No exits before 10am.
- Arrival: Arrive early to avoid delays in the parking line.

- Event: Our Third Annual West Coast Dash in support of our breast and ovarian cancer work.
- Races: 5K Race, 10K Race, Family Fun Race, Virtual Race, and Event Festival.
- Location: Fully paved course at Dockweiler Beach, just steps from the ocean.

- Healthcare Hero: Dr. Joshua G. Cohen, board-certified gynecologic oncologist and Medical Director of the Gynecologic Cancer Program.
- Honorary Community Hero: Rabbi Aimee Irshay Gerace z”l, commemorating her first Yahrzeit as a beloved leader and educator.
- Legacy: Rabbi Aimee’s impact continues through her family, friends, and the community she built.
- Support: Join us at the post-race festival with food, refreshments, entertainment, and more.
🏅 Race Entry
- 5K / 10K: Race entry includes a race t-shirt and finisher’s medal. Chip timed.
- Family Fun Race (1K): Entry tickets include a t-shirt and medal. Open to all abilities.
- Virtual Race: Participate from anywhere in the country. T-shirt mailed for tickets purchased by August 29th.
- Become a Captain: Form a team and win prizes.
🗓️ Early Bird Packet Pickup
- LA Metro Pickup: Thursday, September 12 from 4 - 7pm at Rancho Park/Cheviot Hills Park Recreation Center.
- Valley Pickup: Thursday, September 12 from 4 - 7pm at Fleet Feet Encino.
- Location: Look for pink tables at both pickups for bib collection.
- Discount: 15% off any in-store purchases for those picking up bibs.
