Event Overview

On Sunday, September 14, 2025, Sharsheret will gather hundreds of thrivers, caregivers, friends and supporters on the beach for our 4th Annual West Coast Dash in support of our breast and ovarian cancer work. Our run/walk will include a 5K Race, 10K Race, Family Fun Race, Virtual Race and Event Festival. Contributions excluding the value of race entry tickets are tax-deductible.

Schedule for Race Day

6:00am: Parking Lots Open – First 200 cars will receive a free parking pass. Parking is $13. Please have cash available to expedite process.
7:00am: Registration and Festival Opens (Recommended 5K/10K arrival time)
8:00am: Welcome and Opening ceremony. National Anthems will be performed by Harkham Hillel Hebrew Academy Choir under the direction of Katherine Simon.
8:20am: Warm Up with celebrity fitness instructor Dion Jackson of All Seasons Fitness Media and Walk to Start Line for 5K/10K

Waze and Apple Maps may misdirect you. Please follow the instructions below.

Freeway Route from 405N and 405S: Take the 105 Imperial Hwy past LAX towards the beach. Beach entry is at the end of Imperial Hwy where it passes Vista Del Mar.
City Streets from North: Take Pershing Drive south (NOTE: Vista Del Mar will be closed North of Imperial Highway on race morning) until it hits Imperial Hwy. Make a right into the beach entry.
City Streets from South: Take Vista Del Mar north until it hits Imperial Hwy. Make a left into the beach entry.

Parking

Free parking: The first 200 cars will receive a free parking pass. Parking is $13 per car. Please have cash available to expedite process.

When you arrive: Please let the parking attendant know that you are with the event and be prepared with cash.
Lots for parking: After you pay, turn right and follow the road. There are three parking lots. We recommend parking in the 2nd lot.
Limited parking: The 3rd lot is reserved for volunteers and those who require wheelchairs or other special needs.
Exit Restrictions: No vehicles will be able to leave the third lot before 10am.

5K / 10K: Race entry tickets include a race t-shirt and finisher’s medal. Both races will be chip timed...
Family Fun Race (1K): Race Entry tickets are for ages 1 and up and include a race t-shirt and medal.
Virtual Race: Join us from anywhere around the country. Race tickets purchased by August 27th will receive a race t-shirt by mail.
Become a Team Captain: For your family, friends, school, synagogue or company. Win awesome prizes and make your miles meaningful.
