🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Event Name: "Run for 9-1-1" is an annual charity 5K run (or walk) to benefit #ThankYou911, an initiative of NENA, the National Emergency Number Association.
• Purpose: #ThankYou911 encourages public support and recognition of 9-1-1 professionals, the unsung heroes of public safety, by generating essential funds to provide scholarships, continuing education opportunities, and wellness programs for 9-1-1 professionals across the United States.

• Location: Shoreline Park, 200 Aquarium Way, Long Beach, CA 90802

🗓️ Race Day Schedule

• Packet Pick-up: 7:00 a.m.
• Race Start: 8:00 a.m. for both the 5K
• Event Type: This is an afternoon event.
• Location: Race location is at Shingle Creek Park.

💲 Pricing

• Early Bird: $25 for both 5K
• General Registration: $30
• Late Registration: $40 Thursday & Race Day Friday
• Bulk Team Pricing: Create a team and sign up 4+ participants, and each team member gets a $5 refund. Teams can be created HERE.

🏅 Awards

• Commemorative T-Shirt: All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt and medal.
• Grand Prizes: Awards for top 3 males and females of the 5K.
• Best Team T-Shirt/Costume Prize: Will be awarded during the event.
• Shirt/Medal Guarantee: Registrations after 6/21 cannot be guaranteed a shirt and/or finisher medal.

👶 Age Group Awards

• Categories: 12 & Under: 13-19: 20-29: 30-39: 40-49: 50-59: 60-69: 70+
• Recognition: Age group awards for all categories.
• Finisher Medal: Participants of the 5K will receive finisher medals.

⌚ Chip Timing

• Timing Method: All participants will be chip timed.
