• ½ Marathon:
  • $70: "Early Bird- 'I'm on the ball'" Registration through April 27th at midnight
  • $80: "Race Week- 'I almost forgot'" Registration through May 2nd at 7 pm
  • $90: "Last Chance- 'Please let me Run'" Registration Race morning from 6:30-7:50am
• 5k Run:
  • $30: "Early Bird- 'I'm on the ball'" Registration through April 27th at midnight
  • $35: "Race Week- 'I almost forgot'" Registration through May 2nd at 7 pm
  • $40: "Last Chance- 'Please let me Run'" Registration Race morning from 6:30-7:50am
• ½ Marathon RELAY: (Each relay participant must register individually)

• Half-Marathon: Beautiful out & back course through Cape Henlopen State Park to Gordon's Pond & back. CLICK HERE

🛠️ COURSE ETIQUETTE

• ALL PARTICIPANTS: ARE REQUIRED TO RUN ON THE COURSE THAT IS MARKED WITH ARROWS AND CONES.
• PLEASE STAY: ON THE ROAD WHERE IT IS MARKED AND POLICE ARE STATIONED.
• DO NOT RACE: ON THE SIDEWALK, RUN THROUGH PRIVATE PROPERTY, OR RUN ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE ROAD.
• FAILURE TO FOLLOW: THESE RACE INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN A DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE EVENT.

👟 SEASHORE STRIDER GUIDELINES

• THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT ALLOWED: IN A SEASHORE STRIDER EVENT:
  • BIKES: ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE ON THE COURSE RIDING ALONG/PACING ANY REGISTERED RUNNER.
  • BANDITS: (NON-REGISTERED) RUNNERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE IN THE RACE RUNNING ALONG/PACING ANY REGISTERED RUNNER.
  • HEADPHONES:/EAR PODS ARE DISCOURAGED IN BOTH EARS DUE TO SAFETY OF HEARING TRAFFIC.

⏱️ RACE TIMING

• Seashore Strider Event Production: will chip time the event using the Chronotrack chip timing system.
• 13:44 per mile pace: cut-off time which is a 3-hour half-marathon.

🔍 RACE DETAILS

• ½ Marathon individual: Open Division (male/female)
• 5K run/walk individual: Open Division (male/female)
• ½ Marathon Relay Teams: 2 Male, 2 Female, Co-ED
  • Relay Runner #1: will begin with the open ½ marathon.
  • Relay Runner #2: goes to the halfway point at Gordon's Pond for exchange.

🅿️ PARKING

• Plenty of Lewes parking:
  • Lewes Beach: located just 1/2 mile from the start/finish behind DQ on Savannah Road.
  • Georgia Beach: located just 3/4 mile from the start/finish on Cape Henlopen Drive.
  • Behind the Beacon Motel: at the start/finish line...enter off Anglers Rd not through the Beacon parking lot.
  • Public parking: on the west side of the Canal directly across from Irish Eyes...1/2 mile walk to Irish Eyes.
• No Parking: at Irish Eyes as the parking lot will be used for the post-race celebration.
