🌊 Race Details
- Race Types: 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon
- Start Location: Parade Field, Cape Henlopen State Park
- Course Experience: Participants will race through trails and along the beachline, simulating desert sands.
- Categories: Run, March (race-walk), and Heavy March (Trail race with 15lb. pack)
📦 Packet Pickup
- Date: Friday, May 9th
- Location: American Legion Post 17, Lewes, DE
- Time: 5pm – 9pm (Live band from 6pm-8pm)
- Day of Event: Packet pickup available at 7:00am near the starting line
🏅 Event Components
- Competition: Open to all levels, honoring sacrifices made by military personnel
- Education: Historical Exhibit available for all attendees
- Celebration: “Celebration of Warriors” with local vendors from 8:30am – 3pm
- Live Music: Bands from 10:30am to 3pm
👕 Registration and Participation
- T-Shirt Guarantee: Pre-register by May 1, 2025
- Commemorative Medallion: First 500 participants will receive one at the finish line
- Weather: The race is rain or shine (unless unsafe conditions)
