🏃‍♂️ The HES Anchor Run

The HES Anchor Run is an event to support Haughton Elementary School. All proceeds will be designated for student resources. Join us for an exciting event and help us in supporting a local school in our community.

• Location: First Baptist Church Haughton, Haughton, LA

📅 DATE & STARTING TIME

• Date: Saturday, February 22nd, at First Baptist Church Haughton
• ½ Mile Fun Run: 8:00am
• 5k: 8:30am

COURSE DESCRIPTION

• 5k Run: The 5k Run will begin in the parking lot of First Baptist Church Haughton and will run through Cornerstone Subdivision and then back to the church.
• Fun Run: The Fun Run will also start at the church.

🎽 FUN RUN DETAILS

• Start/End: The Fun Run will also start and end at First Baptist Church Haughton
• Race Packet Pick up: Pre-registered participants will receive an official race T-Shirt.
• Location: Race packets can be picked up at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport
• Pickup Times: Thursday, February 20th, from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.: Friday, February 21st, from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.: Race Day from 7 a.m. - 8 a.m.

📝 5K REGISTRATION

• Eligibility: All ages can register for the 5K.
• Early Bird Rate: $15 through Friday, January 24th
• Regular Rate: $20 through Friday, February 14th at 3:00 p.m.
• Late Registration: $25, from Friday, February 14th at 3:01 p.m. - Race Day (not guaranteed a t-shirt)

👶 FUN RUN REGISTRATION

• Eligibility: Children 10 & under may register for the ½ Mile Fun Run.
• Registration Fee: $10 - flat fee

💖 SLEEP IN SUPPORTER

• Support Option: If you cannot be there, but still want to show your support.
• Pricing: The same as 5k Registration. (You will still receive a t-shirt)

🏆 AWARDS

• Overall Winners: Overall Male & Female winners in the 5K will receive a cash prize and a medal.
• Aging Winners: 1st and 2nd place male and female 5K winners will receive medals in various age groups: 8-under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

🥇 ½ MILE FUN RUN AWARDS

• Winners: Medals will be given for Overall 1st and 2nd Place Male & Female (age 10 and under).
• Participation: Fun run ribbons will be given to each participant.

🎉 POST-RACE CELEBRATION

• Join Us: Join us after the race for the music, food, and awards.
