The Trail Run at the Monkey Trails

🏃‍♂️ Race Course:

All three courses are run on the beautifully cut trails that wind through Eddie D. Jones Park.

• Time Limit: There is a 3 hour time limit for the 10 mile course. If you feel you cannot complete the 10 miles in 3 hours or under, please consider the 3 mile or 5 mile course.
• Recording: We will not record times for those that are on the course after the 3 hour mark.

🏆 Awards:

For all 3 distances. Overall Male & Female, 1st & 2nd Place Male & Female in the following age groups:

• Categories: 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

🎉 Post Race Party:

Stick around after the race for burgers and drinks!!

• Before Feb. 10th: $32 until midnight
• Feb. 11th - Feb. 14th: $37
• Race Day: $40

With La Niña here things are going to get cold this winter. So for 2025 we have decided to give everyone a really cool beanie to help keep your head warm instead of just another t-shirt.

📦 Packet Pick Up:

Dates:

• Thursday, Feb. 13th: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., at Sportspectrum 6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71105
• Friday, Feb. 14th: 10:00 a.m.—5:30 p.m. at Sportspectrum 6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71105
• Race Day: Starting at 7:15 a.m. at the race site.

All race packets not picked up by the start of the race will be given to our awesome volunteers and staff.

🔄 Refund & Race Entry Transfer Policy:

• Refunds: If you can no longer run the race, and need to cancel more than 30 days in advance, you will receive 100% refund. If you cancel between 30 days and two weeks prior to race day, you will receive 50% refund. We will not allow any refunds less than two weeks before race day. No exceptions.
• Race Entry Transfers: We will allow race entry transfers to another person as long as the transfer is done at least two weeks prior to race day. There is a $10.00 charge for transfers. No exceptions.
