🐊 The Great Gator 5K & Fun Run
This is the 4th Annual Great Gator 5k and Fun Run. We are raising money for Elm Grove Elementary. We do this race to get our kids out in the community and give the community the opportunity to show their support.
📅 Date & Location
- Date: Saturday, May 3, 2025
- Location: 4832 CenturyLink Center Drive, Bossier City, LA
- Starting Time: The 5K run/walk will begin at 8:00am
- Race Site: Walker Park on the Arthur Ray Teague Parkway
🏃♂️ Race Categories
- Gator 5K: a 3.1 mile run/walk plus a t-shirt.
- Fun Run: a 1/2 mile run/walk around the park plus a t-shirt.
- Lazy Gator: Sleep-in morning of the race, but come get a t-shirt during packet pick up!
- Register Early! No shirts are guaranteed to late registrants.
📦 T-shirts & Race Packet Pickup
- Pickup Location: Run Wild, 9462 Ellerbe Rd.
- Pickup Dates: Thursday, May 3rd from 11 am-6 pm
- Pickup Times: Friday, May 4th from 10 am-5:30 pm
- Race Day Pickup: Packets available at race site starting at 7:00am
🐾 Special Note
Leashed dogs are invited! Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but at a walk pace capacity only. Absolutely NO inline skates, roller skates or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation!
