Phillip's Cottage 5k

🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

• Cause: All proceeds to benefit Phillip’s Cottage, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that will provide transitional housing to women and their children who are graduating from the Louisiana Adult & Teen Challenge program.
• Goal: Funds will be used to renovate a 3,000 sq ft house that will become a safe haven for these women who have worked hard to reclaim their lives and be the best Mothers they can be for their children.
• Location: Race will begin and end at Phillip’s Cottage located at 217 W. Union St. Minden, LA.
• Date: Saturday, April 12, 2025.

🕒 Date & Time

• 5k Start: 8:15 am
• Fun Run Start: 8:00 am

💰 Registration Fees

• 5k: $25 registration fee (t-shirt included) until March 15, 2025
• March 16-April 11: $30
• Race Day: $35
• Fun Run: $15

😴 Sleep-in Supporters

• Option: If you’d like to support this cause and receive a t-shirt without having to break a sweat, you can register as a sleep-in supporter for $30 by March 15, 2025.
• Shipping: Your t-shirt will be shipped to the address provided.

📦 Packet & T-shirt Pick-up

• Dates: Thursday, April 10 from 10-1 pm
• Dates: Friday, April 11 from 4-6 pm
• Race Day: Starting at 7:00 am.

🏆 Awards

• Cash Prize: A cash prize will be given to 1st place overall male & female runners in the 5k.
• Trophies: 1st & 2nd place 5k runners in each age group will receive a trophy.
• Age Groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

⚠️ Special Note

• Allowed: Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but at a walk pace capacity only.
• Not Allowed: Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on the run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation!
