Ahoy there, mateys! Welcome aboard the Pirates Plunder, where the only thing we pillage and loot is the course. Get ready to hoist the Jolly Roger and set sail on an adventure like no other.

Our races are open to anyone who wants to participate, regardless of their age, ability level, or preferred pace. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or a first-time walker, you are welcome to join us for our events.

🗺️ About Our Courses

Our courses are not closed, which means that there are often other runners, walkers, and others enjoying the day along with you. Safety is a must and all runners must stay on the pedestrian side of the beach path. The course never goes off the beach path.

Course Safety: Courses are well marked with two water stations and restrooms along the way.
Course Layout: 5k will run 1 out and back, the 10k will run it twice.
Half Marathon: Will run 3 out and back laps.
Turnaround Points: Well marked with flags/chalk.

🏅 What You Get

All participants will receive a finishers medal, finish line goodies, and free downloadable race photos. Race results will be posted on our website within 10 hours of the completion of the race.

💰 Refund and Deferral Policy

Sorry but there are NO REFUNDS but we do offer deferrals until 48 hours before the event and you can transfer your entry to another person for free up to 48 hours before the event. There is a $15 cash transfer fee on the day of the event and matching ID is required to pick up your bib.

🕒 Race Times

6:30am: Pick up bibs near the start line.
7:00am: Half Marathon start.
7:30am: 5k & 10k start.

2000 Ocean Ave Santa Monica, CA US 90405. Look for the easy-up tents adjacent to Crescent Bay Park.

🚗 Parking Information

If you park on the street be sure to read the signs carefully. Street sweeping is daily in Santa Monica. It is best to park in the paid parking lot near the start line. Parking ranges from $10 to $12 depending on the time of the year. If you arrive before the lot attendant is on duty you can pay at the machine near the entrance of the lot.
