🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

LASAA’s mission is to provide athletic events for our members, comprised of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department employees and law enforcement personnel, to promote health, fitness, and camaraderie.

🏅 Mug Run History

• Inception: The Mug Run series started in 1993.
• Initial Participants: The primary participants were law enforcement personnel with an average of 10 runners.
• Growth: Since then, the Mug Run series opened its participation to the general public.
• Current Numbers: Today, participation has grown to over 300 runners.

🤝 Community Engagement

The race provides outside friendly competition and positive interaction between law enforcement and the community.

💰 Registration Details

• Pricing: Race day pricing increases to $40 so make sure to sign up early.
• Check-in: Day of Race check in and same day registration starts at 6:30am and closes 7:45am.
• Race Start: The race starts at 8am.
• Participation Perk: Each runner will receive a T-shirt on race day.
