🏃‍♂️ EVENT DETAILS

• Location: The event starts at the Claremont Launch Ramp at 5350 E. Ocean Blvd and the course follows along the scenic Long Beach shoreline. Park at the 54th & Claremont lot.
• Time: Race packet pick up is at the starting line on race day. Please arrive by 7:30 am to allow sufficient time before the race.

🏅 EVENTS

• 5K Runner-only (humans only) race starts at 8:30 am
• 5K Mutt run (runner/walker plus dog) starts at 8:30 am
• 1K Mutt run (runner/walker plus dog) starts at 8:45 am

🐕 DOGGIE DO'S and DON'T'S

• Breeds: All breeds of dogs welcome, not just mutts
• Leashing: Dogs must be leashed and stay on the pedestrian path at all times
• Behavior: Dogs must be non-aggressive with people and dogs

🎉 FUN INCLUSIONS AND POST-RACE EVENTS

• Adoption: Adoption event by the Long Beach Animal Care Services at the finish line and post-race festival
• Merchandise: High quality race t-shirt for 1K and 5K participants
• Medals: Finisher medal for all participants
• Discounts: Sports Basement coupons for all participants
• Awards: Awards for top three 5K finishers
• Top Dog: Premium wearable treat pouch (with treats) for the top dog

❤️ WHY WE RUN

• Support: 70% of proceeds will support the Long Beach Animal Care Services
• Community: 30% of the proceeds will go toward the community project fund at Signal Hill Rotary
