🏃♂️ Event Overview
For over 40 years, the Al Rivera Menudo Run 5K/10K has reached athletes, novices, family, friends, and community members. This event historically begins on a beautiful August morning at Whittier Narrows "Legg Lake" Park. This year's event will feature a 5k Run, 10k Run, Fun Run, Kiddy Run and a Team Race!
🏅 Awards and Medals
- Medals: Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers in both the 5k and 10k.
- Age Divisions: This applies to age divisions: 0-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90+.
- Fun Run: There are no awards for the Fun Run or Kiddy Run.
- Team Event: The top 3 teams will receive a trophy.
🍲 Participant Perks
- Menudo: ALL participants will receive a bowl of menudo.
- Beer: Participants that are 21+ will also receive a beer.
- ID Check: Make sure to bring your ID for your free beer!
