🌱 About Us
Fort Bend Wildlife Rescue is a coalition of wildlife rehabilitators who serve Fort Bend and surrounding counties. Our purpose is to help orphaned, injured, and ill wildlife by supporting rehabilitators, modelling environmental stewardship and providing educational outreach to our community.
🎯 Our Objectives
- Resource Provision: Provide resources to wildlife rehabilitators, such as food, training, medicine, and vet care.
- Fundraising: Raise funds to establish a physical wildlife center, provide equipment, staffing and training for wildlife rehabilitators.
- Mentorship: Mentor sub permittees, increase the number of permitted wildlife rehabilitators, and attract volunteers.
- Education: Participate in education and outreach events and activities that promote coexistence of humans and wildlife.
