- Join us: for a fun-run sponsored by the Alexandria Foundation.
- Mission: Our 501(C)(3) foundation awards scholarships annually and has supported educational initiatives for students in the greater Houston area for over 25 years.
- Cause: A portion of the net proceeds from this year's event will be donated towards initiatives that battle Sickle Cell and Sickle Cell Trait Awareness.
- Research focus: Sickle cell disease (SCD) and sickle cell trait research and treatment have historically faced deficits in funding, research prioritization, and accessibility of care compared to other illnesses.
🏃♂️ Race Details
- Date: Saturday, April 19th, 2025.
- Location: Brazos River Park in Sugar Land, TX.
- Open to: The public (men, women, and children).
- Unique length: This isn't your traditional 5K run - we've added an extra 1K in honor of the year Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc was founded 1906 ('06).

- Awards: Top finishers will also be awarded based on their registration class.
- Walking option: If you aren't up for running - WALK - in support of the efforts of our organization.
