🏃‍♂️ Brazos Bend 50 Race Information

Registration and information for the December edition: Brazos Bend 100.

📅 Event Overview

• Marquee Event: The 50-mile race is the highlight.
• Additional Distances: Includes 50k, 25k, 10k, and 5k options.
• Target Audience: Suitable for both veteran and first-time ultra runners.
• Course Terrain: Predominantly flat, featuring crushed rock and soft hiking trails.

🌳 Course Conditions

• Elevation: The only hill is 10 feet: otherwise, the course is 99.9% flat.
• Weather: Typically warm and humid with potential cooler mornings in Spring.
• Wildlife: Expect American Alligators and a variety of birds.
• Unique Experience: Enjoy wildlife safely from a distance for unique race photos.

📅 2025 Tentative Schedule

• Friday, April 4th: Packet Pickup from Noon to 7:00 PM at Elm Lake Pavilion.
• Saturday, April 5th: Bag Drop from 4:00 AM - 5:30 AM and Packet Pickup from 4:30 AM - 9:00 AM.
• Race Start Times: 50-Mile at 6 AM, 50K at 7 AM, 25K at 7:30 AM, 10K at 8 AM, 5K at 8:30 AM, Kids K at Noon.
• Finish Line: Closes at 9:00 PM (Final Cutoff for all events).

• Race Swag: Every runner receives a choice of race swag.
• Support: Outstanding volunteer support during the event.
• Aid Stations: Texas Size Full Aid Stations available throughout the course.
• Timing: All races are chip timed for accurate results.

🎫 Park Pass Requirement

• Entry Fee: Persons 13 and over require a special events state park pass for the weekend.
• Payment: Receipt of digital payment must be shown for wristbands at packet pickup.
• Wristband Pickup: Pre-purchased wristbands can be picked up for others with a digital receipt.
• Pass Includes: Park entry, trail & facility use.

👟 Pacers

• Eligibility: Pacers allowed only on the final lap of 50k and 50M races.
• Registration: Free but requires park pass: registering as a participant isn't necessary for pacing.
• Pacer Limit: Each athlete may have only one pacer unless exceptions are approved.
• Deadline: Pacer registration closes the day before the event.

🏕 Camping & Accommodations

• Restrictions: Camping at event area and parking lots is not allowed.
• Reservations: Camping must be reserved online through the Texas State Parks website.
• Alternative Options: Open primitive camping and RV parking available across the street without reservations.
• Nearby Stays: Closest accommodation options include AirBnB and hotels in Rosenburg and Sugar Land.
