This November, lace up your running shoes and join us for the Turkey Shuffle, a delightful race set amidst the serene beauty of Texas parks and greenbelts. As autumn paints the landscape with vibrant hues and the Texas heat takes a brief respite, participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in the stunning fall colors while enjoying a well-organized and festive running experience.

🏅 Race Distances

• Kids Dash: Approximately 50 meters for children aged 10 and under. Not timed and includes a tee shirt, race medal, and exclusive recognition pin.
• 1 Mile: Designed for all ages and experience levels. Not chipped timed and includes a tee shirt and race medal.
• 5K: Chip timed, featuring trophies for male and female finishers and age group awards.
• 10K: Chip timed, including overall trophies for male and female finishers and age group awards.

The costume contest at the Turkey Shuffle is going to be a spectacular highlight you won’t want to miss! Unleash your creativity and dazzle us with your most fabulous Thanksgiving-themed outfit. Whether you’re rocking a turkey tutu, a pilgrim’s hat, or an inventive feast-inspired ensemble, this is your chance to shine. The grand prize is the coveted "Biggest Turkey" trophy.

• All Finishers: Receive a medal and shirt.
• Youth Pricing: 5K & 10K for ages 12 & under only $15.
• Referral Bonus: Participants receive a $20 refund for referring 5 others.

⏰ Event Schedule

• 7:30-8:45am: Packet Pickup
• 8:55am: Kids Dash (Meet at the Start Line)
• 9:00am: National Anthem and Race Start!
• Results: Awards live at the Registration tent immediately following your finish!

✋ Volunteer Opportunities

Sign up to volunteer and enjoy various roles, including helping at water stations, serving as course monitors, and more. Volunteers receive a Bigfoot race shirt, souvenir race medal, and a choice of a free race entry to a future event or a $20 pre-paid gift card!

• Water Station: Ensure water cups are filled and ready for participants.
• Course Monitors: Provide participant safety and encouragement along the course.
• Bigfoot Mascot: Wear the mascot costume at the finish line for photo opportunities.
• Various Roles: Each role contributes to a fun and exciting race atmosphere.
