• Qualifier: Western States 100 Lottery Qualifier (sub 32 hour 100-mile) with 119 qualifiers in 2024!
• Event: The marquee event is the 100-mile race.
• Popularity: This is the December edition of our popular Brazos Bend races.

🏞️ Course Information

• Trail Conditions: The largest trail race in Texas with flat and smooth trails.
• Support: Incredible support from four aid stations per loop.
• Elevation: 99.9% flat: only a 10-foot rise over 0.1 of a mile.
• Surface: ~16.7mi loop includes hard crushed rock, soft hiking trails, and smooth horse trails.

🐊 Wildlife

• Location: Brazos Bend State Park, known for its abundance of birds and American Alligators.
• Safety: Gators have posed no incidents in the park's 50-year history.
• Photos: Enjoy unique race photos with wildlife while keeping a safe distance.

🥇 Brazos Bend Challenge

• Earn the Coin: Complete the 50K or 50M in April 2025 AND the 100K or 100M in December 2025.

⏳ Cutoff Times

• Finish Line Closure: Sunday at 2 PM for all races.
• Time Limits: 32h for 100M, 31h for 100K, 31.5h for Marathon, 31h for Half Marathon.
• Final Lap Starts: Assessed at the race director's discretion to meet course time limits.
