🎉Race Overview
ABWR has teamed up with two local charities to help with fire relief efforts. Portion of proceeds will go to - California Community Foundation and Pasadena Humane Society.
It's time for our Winter Fun 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!
🕖Event Schedule
- Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone
- Start: 7:30AM
- Half Marathon Cut-off: 11am, option to start early to finish by 11am, please email for early start abetterworldrunning@gmail.com
📍Address & Directions
Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave. Long Beach path in Belmont Shores -- 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.). Do not use Apple Maps app as a GPS, use the Google Maps or Waze app. There is a photo of the map on the website -- www.abetterworldrunning.com.
🚗Travel Tips
- Carpooling: Please plan on carpooling and getting there early to find parking and use the restroom.
- Toilet Paper: Bring toilet paper just in case as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked that early in the morning.
🏁Race Details
All the participants will have their results posted with their names and times. And FREE pictures for everyone posted on our Facebook page after the event!
Pacers and crew are welcome at any time. There are numerous restrooms and water fountains along the course.
* 5k out and back route: Link

* 15k: 3 x 5k loops
* Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop: Link

- Medals: ALL finishers get a medal.
