🏃♀️ Winter Fun Race Overview
It's time for our Winter Fun 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!
🕖 Check-in & Start Times
- Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone
- Start: 7:30AM
- Half Marathon Cut Off: 11am, option to start early to finish by 11am

📍 Location & Directions
Address - Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave. Long Beach path in Belmont Shores -- 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.)
* Please do not use Apple Maps as a GPS. Use Google Maps or Waze app. There is a photo of the map on the website - www.abetterworldrunning.com
🚻 Event Preparation
- Parking: PLEASE PLAN ON CARPOOLING AND GETTING THERE EARLY TO FIND PARKING
- Restrooms: Bring toilet paper just in case as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked in the morning.
- Results: All participants will have their results posted with their names and times.
- Photos: FREE pictures for everyone posted on our Facebook page after the event!
🏅 Race Course Details
- 5k: out and back route - View Route
- 10k: 2 x 5k loops
- 15k: 3 x 5k loops
- Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop - View Route
👶 Accessibility & Participant Information
Running/walking with a stroller is allowed. 3:15 time limit for the half marathon. If more time is needed, please email us at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for early start.
🏆 Finisher Rewards
- Medals: ALL finishers get a medal.
- Goodie Bags: Everyone will get a goodie bag.
- Results Posting: Results are posted after every race on www.abetterworldrunning.com
