🏃♂️ Race Overview
The First annual Lassiter Miles for Mental Health 5k will be held on October 20, 2024 rain or shine. The approximate 5K fun run/walk winds its way around the Lassiter campus and the nature trails of Harrison Park through 3 colored powder stations, followed by fun and games, and fun for kids alike. Proceeds from the event benefit the Lassiter High School Cross Country Team and Lassiter Sources of Strength Club. Come on out for a great day of family fun at the 2024 Miles for Mental Health 5k Run.
📅 Event Details and Schedule
- Date: October 20, 2024
- Time: Runners will start on the Lassiter track at 9AM, rain or shine.
- Registration Fee: $30: Run-day registration is $35.
- Early Registration: By 10/11 guarantees you a t-shirt in your size.

🎽 Packet Pickup
- Run Day Pickup: Available starting at 7:30 AM at the Lassiter stadium.
- Friday Night Pickup: October 18 from 6-8pm at the Lassiter stadium gate.
- Location: We will position ourselves outside the ticket gate for the football game.
- Items: Packet includes Tee-shirt & goodie bag.
🌈 Color Powder Information
We use non-toxic, non-rash-inducing corn starch with food coloring. Participants are encouraged to wear glasses to avoid unwanted powder in your eyes and face: a bandana is useful as well.
🚧 Course Conditions
- Trail Description: Beautiful nature trails with exposed roots and rocks in places: use caution.
- Restrictions: Strollers and animals are not allowed on the course.
- Clean Station: A clean station will be set up near the finish area.
- Preparation: Bring a towel for your car ride home.
🎉 Post-Race Activities
Come prepared to get powdered! Rain or shine! After the run, enjoy food, music, games, and vendor exhibits.
