š Galentine's Day 5K Overview
Galentineās day is a day for ladies celebrating ladies! What better way than with a 5K road race? We are BACK with the 5th Annual Galentineās Day 5K. Come kick it, 5k style! Fellas - youāre also invited!
šāāļø The Race
- Certification: USATF certified and chip timed.
- Course: The course contained completely within Piedmont Park.
- Participation: Each participant will get a commemorative Galentineās Day 5K race bib and super soft shirt.
š Awards
- Categories: First Place Overall Female, First Place Masters female, and 3 deep in each age group.
- Age Groups: Womens <10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
- Recognition: These speedy ladies will each receive a fantastic award!
- Inclusion: Men will be scored in the same age groups.
š Post Race Party
- Celebration: Stick around after the race for awards and post race party.
- Treats: We will have chocolate covered strawberries, pretzels, hot chocolate and more.
- Activities: We will have music, games and TONS of giveaways from local merchants.
- Special Feature: The Galentineās day 5K is also the only 5K to offer a complementary Galentineās day card making station after the race!
š Event Details and Schedule
- Parking: Parking is available in the main parking deck at Piedmont Park, as well as in the gravel lot behind Park Tavern.
- Packet Pickup: 8:30AM - Packet Pickup Begins
- Race Start: 9:30AM - Race Start
- Awards Ceremony: 10:15AM - Awards
