Step into a realm of coastal tranquility and exhilaration with High Tide Runs – where the pounding waves harmonize with the rhythmic beat of your heart. As a devoted runner, you understand the thrill of the race, the joy of crossing the finish line, and the escape that running brings. Imagine all of this against the backdrop of the endless ocean horizon.
At High Tide Runs, we're not just an event – we're a movement, a community of runners bound by the love of the run and the serenity of the sea. Whether you’re a seasoned speedster chasing personal records or a mom with a stroller seeking a family-friendly outing, our races are tailored for you.
Why settle for the norm when you can have an extraordinary experience at a fraction of the cost? We’re not about the glitz and glamor of extravagant events: we’re about substance and connection. Our mission is to make running accessible to everyone, to celebrate the journey rather than the spectacle.
High Tide Runs embraces a true spirit of inclusion. Our races are a tapestry of individuals, woven together by their passion for movement. Age, speed, and experience matter not – if you’re eager to be part of the journey, you're already one of us.
Our designated course completion time has been set at 3 hours and 20 minutes. Finish line closes at 10:20 am. For those concerned about nearing the time limit, an early start time of 6:30 AM is available, providing a generous time limit of 3 hours and 45 minutes for a more comfortable and leisurely completion of the race.
Early start runners should be at the High Tide tents by 6:20 am to pick up a bib and hit the race course.
We embrace an open-course philosophy, inviting a vibrant tapestry of fellow runners, walkers, and enthusiasts to share the day’s experience with you. Safety is paramount, and we kindly request all runners to remain on the designated pedestrian side of the beach path. The course elegantly follows the beach path without deviation, assuring you a seamless journey.
Course Specifics: The 5K and 10K races share the same course. The turnaround is located at mile 1.55. The 5K race follows a single out-and-back lap, while the 10K race involves two out-and-back laps.
For Half Marathon and 10-mile runners, you’ll find the course routes on the provided links.

All events are gun-timed. We start the clock when the horn sounds and record your time as you cross the finish line. Your bib must be worn on the front of your body at all times.
Every participant, without exception, will proudly claim a finisher’s medal, a symbol of your triumph etched in metal. A treasure trove of finish-line goodies will be yours to savor, a delightful celebration of your accomplishment. Capture the moment forever with our gift of free downloadable race photos, typically posted within 24 hours of the event. Race results will be meticulously tabulated and promptly posted on our website within 10 hours of the race's conclusion.
We apologize, but we do not offer refunds. However, you may transfer to another High Tides Event 48 hours before the event.
