Join us for the 4th Annual running of the "City of Rockmart - Running for a Paws 5K" on October 5, 2024, at Veterans Plaza in Rockmart, GA! The event benefits the City of Rockmart Police Department K9 Fund.
🏁 Registration
- Pre-Race Registration Fee: $30 until September 29th for guaranteed T-shirt size.
- Race Day Registration Fee: $40.
🚦 Start-Finish & Race Day Parking
- Starting Line: Intersection of Slate St. and Cherry St. in Downtown facing the old City Hall.
- Finish Line: Along the Silver Comet Trail adjacent to Euharlee Creek beside Veterans Plaza.
- Race Day Parking: Available downtown and in the City lot across Euharlee Creek.
🗺️ Race Route
- Route: Utilizes downtown streets and the Silver Comet Trail, with an "out-and-back" course.
- Turnaround Point: Just past the Vinson Mountain Trailhead.
🕒 Race Day Schedule
- Race Day Registration Opens: 6:45 AM
- Race Day Registration Closes: 7:30 AM
- 5K Start Time: 8:00 AM
- 5K Awards Presentation: 9:15 AM
📦 Pre-Registration Packet Pick-Up
- Pick-Up: October 4th, 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM at Rockmart Police Department Headquarters.
🏆 Awards
- Overall Winners: Top 3 Male and Female, Top Masters, and Age Category Winners.
- Note: Rain or shine event!
