- Community Focus: Designed to bring our community together in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

- Beneficiary: Proceeds will support individuals facing health challenges by helping with medical expenses.
- Scholarship Fund: Contributions will also benefit the MLK Bartow County Scholarship Fund.

- Scenic Course: The race utilizes a new portion of the Sam Smith Park trail.
- Community Appeal: The route highlights the natural beauty of Cartersville.

📝 Registration Information
- Pre-Race Fee: $30 until January 16th
- Race Day Fee: $40 on the day of the event
- Early Registration: Register early to guarantee your lower rates and T-shirt size.
🚦 Race Day Logistics
- Start-Finish Location: Cartersville Middle School track at the race address.
- Parking: Ample race parking is available on-site and at the Sam Smith Soccer Complex.
- Overflow Parking: Also located off Milner Road, just past Milner Rd. and Walnut Grove Rd. intersection.

- 8:45 AM: Race Day Registration / Packet Pick-up Opens
- 9:45 AM: Race Day Registration Closes
- 9:55 AM: Pre-Race Announcements
- 10:00 AM: 5K Start
- 11:15 AM: Awards Presentation
🎟️ Packet Pick Up
Packet Pick-up will be held Saturday, January 18th, from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM at the Big Peach Running Company of Cartersville, located at 402 E. Church St., Cartersville, GA 30121.

- Top Male/Female: Awards for the Top 3 Overall Male and Top 3 Overall Female Winners
- Top Masters: Awards for the Top Master’s Male and Top Master’s Female Winners
- Age Categories: Top 3 Male & Female in various age categories.

The race will be professionally chip-timed by Wire2Wire Running. Results will be posted on their website results page.
