- Organizer: Garrison Mill Elementary School’s PTA and Foundation
- Purpose: Proceeds support capital improvements at Garrison Mill Elementary School
- Goal: Install a shade structure over the 1-3rd grade playground
- Estimated Cost: $50,000
📝 Important Registration Information
- Deadline: Online registration for the 5K run closes on March 26th at 11:59 PM
- On-Site Registration: Available during packet pickup on Friday or at the race site on Saturday (Digital payments only)
- Participants: Sprint gallopers, slow trotters, and families are all welcome
- Fun Run: 4 years old & under can participate in the Giddy Up Gallop Fun Run
🎉 Race Day Schedule
- Parking: All participants will park at Wesley Chapel UMC, 4495 Sandy Plains Rd, Marietta, GA 30066
- Shuttle: Provided shuttle to Garrison Mill: last shuttle at 7:30 AM
- Registration: Same-day registration and number pickup at 7:00 AM
- Race Start Times: 7:30 AM for 1K, 8:00 AM for 5K
🏅 Post-Race Activities
- Post-Race Party: 9:00 AM family-friendly event at the finish line
- Fun Run: Giddy Up Gallop for 4 & under begins at 9:15 AM
- Awards Ceremony: 9:30 AM for top three female/male finishers in various age groups
- T-Shirts: All registered participants receive a t-shirt (guaranteed if registered before March 7th, 2024)

- 5K Qualification: This event is an AJC Peachtree Road Race Qualifying Event
- Course Details: Starts at Garrison Mill school, through Wesley Chapel Road, and finishes at the school track
- Age Groups for Medals: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over
