- Historical Significance: Follows the tracks where the actual Great Locomotive Chase took place on April 12, 1862.
- Beneficiary: Proceeds benefit "Cancer Navigators" (info here).

- Location: Adairsville City Hall office, 116 Public Square, Adairsville, GA 30103.

- 6:45 AM: Race Day Registration Opens
- 7:45 AM: Race Day Registration Closes
- 7:55 AM: Push-Assist Athlete Race Start Time
- 8:00 AM: 5K Start time
- 9:15 AM: Awards Ceremony
Awards
- Overall: Awards for Top Three Overall Male & Female finishers, and Top Master Male & Female.
- Age Groups: Awards for Top Three Male & Female finishers in age groups: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 & Over.
- Note: T-shirts for 10 & under free registration only for those who pre-register by April 7th deadline.
