📝 DESCRIPTION

• Join us: Join the Seashore Striders for one of the oldest 5m races in the area and in the STATE of DELAWARE in its 43rd year.
• Event History: This race was the longtime YMCA 5 miler that changed its name to the Henlopen 5 miler and then to the current Seashore 5 miler.
• Race Event: The 9th event in the popular Seashore Strider Championship Series, this year's Seashore 5 miler will be held "live".
• Charity Focused: The Seashore 5 miler is a great event raising money for local charities in the Cape Region.

📍 RACE LOCATION

• Venue: GROVE PARK in REHOBOTH. FOLLOW RACE SIGNS.
• Entrance Fees: Daily Entrance Fees may be in effect at Cape Henlopen State Park if you plan to watch from Gordons Pond. Please be prepared.
• Important Note: The Entrance Fee to the park has no tie to the event. The event is separate, so you may be charged as you enter the park without a State of DE pass.
• Tip: State Parks in DE are beautiful - it would benefit you financially to buy an annual pass.

⏰ RACE TIME

• Start Time: 7:30 am

🖊️ RACE REGISTRATION

• Early Bird Fee: $30.00 through July 6th at midnight.
• Race Week Fee: $35.00 from July 7th through July 12th at 10 pm.
• Race-Day Fee: $40.00, registration will open at 6:15 am and will close at 7:25 am.
• Registration Method: Registration will be done online through runsignup. All participants registered before Tuesday, July 8th will be guaranteed a t-shirt, while registrations received after are "first come".

• Charity Focus: Local charities or individuals/families in need.

🏆 AWARDS

• Overall Awards: Awards will be presented to the Overall Male & Female Champions, Overall Male & Female Masters (40+ yrs.), as well as the top three finishers in the following 16 age categories.
• Award Timing: Awards will be presented within 20 minutes following the final runner crossing the finish.
• Award Collection: If you miss the awards ceremony you may pick up locally in Lewes at 9 Gander Lane, Lewes or if you are out of town, your award will be shipped to you for a cost of $10 to cover postage.

• No Refund Policy: The Seashore Striders have a "No Refund" policy: however, they offer options such as transferring to a future event or donating your entry fee to charity.
