Superhero 5k and Kids' Runs Benefiting the ChildSafe Center - CAC

🦸‍♂️ Race Overview

CALLING ALL SUPERHEROES!!!

All children need a hero, but abused children need a superhero.

The Superhero 5K and Kid's Run will benefit the ChildSafe Center - CAC. There's something for the whole family. Don't forget to wear your superhero costume!

🏃‍♀️ Race Details

• Event: Men's and Women's 5K race and/or walk (No age restriction)
• Kid's Mile: 1 mile race (Children ages 6-12)
• Flash Dash: 100 Yard "Flash Dash" for (Children ages 5 and under)

📅 Schedule

The race begins and ends at Greenwood Mill Elementary School with rolling hills in between. This is an open course through a residential area. All registrations close at 8:45.

• 5K Check In: no later than 8:45 am
• 1 Mile Check In: no later than 9:45 am
• Flash Dash Check In: no later than 10:15 am
• 5K Start: at 9:00 am, with the Kid's Mile and 100 Yard Dash immediately following

💰 Registration

Registration in advance is preferred, but same day registration is available (Cash or check). Same day registration/check in will open at 7:45 am and closes at 8:45 am.

• 5K Registration: $30 online, $35 in person
• 1 Mile and Flash Dash: $10 online, $15 in person
• Member Discount: $3 discount for members of Shenandoah Valley Runners

🏆 Awards

Awards will be given to the top male and female overall finishers. Awards will also be given to the top male and female finishers in the Kid's Mile. All Mile finishers will receive a ribbon of completion. All 100 Yard Dash finishers will receive a ribbon of completion.

T-Shirts are guaranteed to those registered by April 1, 2024.

⚠️ Important Notes

Please note, due to insurance requirements, strollers, dogs and headphones are discouraged in the race. This is a rain or shine event, no refunds will be made.
