The Course
- Location: The course features a 1.33 mile loop on the property of Amani Brewery.
- Path Condition: Grass path is well maintained and mowed all year long.
- Loop Format: All runners leave together and must complete the loop within the allotted time.
- Break Time: Finish the loop before the Countdown is up, and take a break as you wish.
Countdown Challenge
- Speed Up: Each lap will be slightly faster than the last.
- Starting Pace: First lap starts at 20 minutes (15:02/mile pace).
- Countdown Reduction: Each successive lap is 20 seconds shorter.
- Race End: The adventure ends if you don’t make it back before the Countdown hits "0".
Strategy Tips
- Conservation: Plan to be conservative enough to finish strong.
- Fuel Strategy: Have enough fuel in your tank to accelerate at the end.
