🦃 Lansing Turkey Trot Details

⏰ Start Time
- Time: 9 am on Thanksgiving Morning.
- Flexible Start: Start the 5K run/walk any time between 9:00 and 9:10am.
- Runners: Faster runners should line up in the front.
- Timing: Your timing does not start until you cross the timing mats!
🚗 Parking
- Location: Lansing Community College parking ramp will be open for parking.
- Free Parking: Ample free parking is available in the Lansing Community College ramp.
- Exit: You can exit the ramp before the last runner has finished.
- Assistance: Volunteers will guide you in and out of the parking area.
💲 Entry Fee
- Cost: $30 until November 20th (guaranteed shirt).
- Late Registration: $35 from November 21st to November 27th (limited shirts available).
- Family Discount: Register 3 or more people at once and save $3 each (valid until November 20th).
- Preregistration: Be sure to preregister as there is no race day registration.
📦 Packet Pick Up
- Dates: At Playmakers on Tuesday 11/26 and Wednesday 11/27 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
- Location: Playmakers community center at 2299 West Grand River Ave. Okemos, MI 48864.
- Group Pickup: You can pick up packets for family and friends.
- Race Day Pickup: Begins at 7:30 am at Lansing Community College in the Gannon building, first floor.
🏆 Results & Awards
- Results: Your accurate chip time will be texted to your phone and live on the race site.
- Age Group Awards: Medals for top 3 in various age groups.
- Overall Awards: Medal and $50 Playmakers gift certificate for Male and Female Overall, Master, and Grand Master.
- Award Availability: Awards will be at the designated table starting at 9:45 am.
🎓 Proceeds
Proceeds from the race support High School and Middle School Cross Country and Track programs, and Youth Running Clubs through the Michigan Running Foundation grant program.
🌐 Virtual Option
If you can't make it to the race, you can register for the virtual race for $35, which includes a shirt and bib mailed to you. Run your virtual race anytime from November 23 to November 30. Note that there are no awards for the virtual event, and registration closes on November 20th.
