🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join the Sophomore Class Council of ASMSU, MSU's Undergraduate Student Government, at Michigan State University for a 5k on April 12th to support the Spartan Food Security Council on campus, in collaboration with the Community Center for Engaged Learning. To enter, we ask that you bring an item from the MSU food bank's "highly needed" list (below).

🍽️ About the Spartan Food Bank

The MSU Student Food Bank fights food insecurity on Michigan State's campus and in the East Lansing community. As a student-led organization, they work to advocate for legislative changes to support students facing food insecurity. Additionally, the Spartan Food Security Council operates their own food bank in Case Hall to make food more accessible.

📍 Race Location

This race will start and finish at the East Neighborhood Courtyard, which is located in between Akers Hall and Fee Hall. There is plenty of parking in nearby lots on campus such as Parking Ramp 3 (near Wharton), Lot 29, and Lot 20.

👕 T-Shirt Pickup & Check-in

T-shirt pickup and check-in will take place at the Start Line beginning at 9:00 AM the day of the 5k. There are limited t-shirts available, and will be distributed on a strict first-come, first-serve basis.
